Impact Reports
iWaste are committed to achieving our sustainability goals every year. Our comprehensive annual Impact Reports encompass our accomplishments throughout the preceding year and demonstrate how our decisions make a bigger impact in the recycling industry. Our vision considers every single impact we can have on the wider world.
We persistently strive for improvement, addressing the challenges of the recycling crisis year after year. Throughout this journey, we prioritise the well-being of our team, valued customers, trusted suppliers, local communities, and the environment. By integrating sustainability into all aspects of our operations, we aim to effect meaningful change.
B Corp Certified

Intelligent Waste Management Ltd (iWaste) is proud to announce that we have achieved B Corp certification, becoming one of the first electrical waste recycling companies in the UK to do so. Known as the gold standard for sustainability, B Corps are required to meet various social and environmental standards, which cover five key impact areas: environment, governance, workers, community, and customers. iWaste joins a global movement of businesses using their power to solve social and environmental problems.
B Corps are for-profit companies that meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability. To become a B Corp, a company must complete a rigorous assessment process and meet the performance standards set by the non-profit B Lab.
iWaste achieved a score of 93.3 within the company's impact assessment, far exceeding the minimum required score of 80 to achieve B Corp standard.

Paperlite to Paperless
iWaste is committed to reducing its environmental impact through carbon offsetting and sustainable innovation. In partnership with Forest Carbon, we offset emissions generated by our vehicles and employee travel by supporting UK woodland creation. This initiative is expected to offset around 108 tonnes of carbon, contributing to projects that enhance biodiversity, improve landscapes, and support long-term environmental sustainability. These efforts align with the UK Woodland Carbon Code, ensuring high-quality, verified carbon capture.
Alongside this, iWaste is driving a transition toward a fully paperless operation. Our custom-built, cloud-based system replaces traditional paper-heavy processes, streamlining everything from customer management and job tracking to automated documentation and route planning. This has significantly reduced paper usage, saved thousands of working hours, and minimised unnecessary travel, supporting a more efficient and environmentally responsible way of working.
